A Man Called Ove 4.5⭐️/5

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

4.5⭐️/5

I freely admit that I judged a book by its cover (a story about a grumpy old man? PASS) and I was WRONG. I thoroughly enjoyed Backman’s writing. He pulls you in with a stubborn old man in the present, and gives you glimpses into a life worth so much more than our worst moments (or our present failings)

This book has so much heart. You belong to these characters and they belong to you. I actually saw something at the store I thought one of the characters would like and I REMEMBERED THEY ARE NOT REAL.

I am about 8 years too late, but if you are also running late to the Ove party you can borrow mine! You must.
